Katie Jamila is a true east coaster at heart. After trying various states, she currently resides in Delaware, where she was raised. She has completed her B.A. in English at the University of Delaware and her M.A in Strategic Communications at Hawai'i Pacific University, and now spends most of her days dreaming of different stories to write while cuddling with a pet or two. 

From a young age, reading has always been an escape; from harboring a love for the deeply misunderstood characters to the women filled with rage, intricate fantasy worlds, and the beauty of romance.

When not reading or writing, you can find Katie with a cup of coffee re-watching her favorite TV shows or movies, listening to her favorite music, or lying on the floor with her pets, dreaming about all the stories she can’t wait to tell.
